189 Independent skilled immigrant visa applicants to rely entirely on personal education, work experience/professional skills, language scores to submit immigration applications, without any guarantee, after approval can be in place to immigrate to Australia. Applicants can apply in Australia or abroad.

· When applying for the 189 Independent Skilled Immigrant visa, your skills may need to be assessed by the relevant assessment agency for your nominated occupation, and submit the Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Immigration Bureau after meeting the minimum score criteria through the scoring test. All Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be completed online using SkillSelect. Submit visa application only after receiving invitation from immigration office. The current minimum score is 65.

· The occupation to apply for the 189 independent skilled immigrant visa must be on the Skilled Occupation List SOL, which currently contains nearly 200 occupations. Accounting, IT, engineering, nursing, primary and secondary school teachers, translation, etc. have always been popular majors for Chinese students to apply for independent skilled immigration.

· 189 An independent skilled worker visa application requires a career assessment. There are currently 28 different job assessment agencies in Australia that assess different occupations. Job assessment agencies are independent of the USCIS, and the assessment requirements for some jobs may not be exactly the same as the application requirements of the USCIS.

· IELTS scores of more than 4 6 points are required to submit EOI, both A and G. But you need four or more 7s to get 10 extra points. But even if you have less than 4 7s, you can study PY (Vocational year) +NAATI (Australian National Translation Agency Translation Examination) /CCL (Community Language Certification Examination) or apply for state sponsorship to emigrate.

You must be under the age of 45 and meet health and character requirements when you receive an invitation to apply for a visa.

In addition, 189 independent skilled migrant visa spouses and children can apply together, if the spouse or 18 years of age and the accompanying child does not achieve an IELTS score of 4.5, there is an additional language learning fee of AUD 4885.
