186 Employer-sponsored permanent residence visa

The Employer Nomination Scheme is a visa for skilled workers outside Australia or skilled temporary residents living or working in Australia. This visa allows skilled workers nominated by their employer to live and work in Australia permanently. Australian employer-sponsored immigrants do not need to meet the EOI score, as long as the applicant's own work is related to the job sponsored by the employer, and there is a qualified employer willing to hire the applicant, then the applicant can apply for the Australian 186 employer sponsored visa. Applicants are required to work for an Australian employer for at least two years after being granted this visa.
