870 Parent 5-Year Temporary Residence Visa allows Australian citizens, permanent residents and eligible New Zealand citizens to sponsor their parents to come and live in Australia for up to 10 years. Guarantor:

· At least 18 years old

· Must be the applicant's biological child, adopted child, or stepchild

You must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident/eligible New Zealand citizen who has lived in Australia for at least four years

· Sponsor up to 2 applicants at a time

· Minimum household income of $83,454.80

· No arrears to the Australian Federal Government, such as public health arrears

· The guarantor must be qualified for sponsorship before submitting the application
