Entrepreneurial success experience
The Immigration Bureau will evaluate the success of the business based on the entrepreneurial experience of the main applicant, and the main applicant must prove that:
· 2 key success factors
· 1 key success factor and 3 supporting success factors
Key success factors include:
· Employ 2 or more Australians, permanent residents or other eligible persons
· Annual turnover of at least AUD 300,000
· Apply for provisional patents or obtain standard patents or innovation patents
· Receiving ongoing funding or investment in entrepreneurial activities
· Establish partnerships with universities
· Sell a startup for $2 million
Supportive success factors include:
· Your entrepreneurial activities are applicable to other business areas
· A claim of success from a state or territory government nominee
· Accept sponsorship from the business community
· Establish at least one other business or participate in at least two other businesses
· Receive formal awards or recognition
· Raise or contribute social funds
A commitment to continue operating or investing
You must have a genuine commitment to continue to operate or invest in Australia
