GTI Global Talent Program Permanent Residence visa

Visa introduction

The Global Talent Independent (GTI) Global Talent Program is a new program launched in 2019. The visa is designed to attract top talent in targeted global fields to Australia, promote Australia's innovative technology sector and bring economic vitality. This visa is one of the priority categories approved by the Immigration Department, and it is a one-step green card

Visa advantage

· 5,000 applications are available

· No age limit

· Language training fee is payable if there is no English requirement

· No career assessment required

· No proof of assets required

· One person, whole family (children under 23 years old)

Application requirements

· Educational requirements:

Master degree (including overseas honors bachelor) or above

· Income requirements:

- Proof of employment income, payroll, labor contract, etc. of the company should be provided

- or provide a full-time employment contract in Australia with demonstrable income

- or prove that they have found a job in Australia that is higher than the previous year's income

If you have just graduated, there is no income requirement, but you must demonstrate the ability to meet this requirement

Note: If the applicant does not currently have the required high salary, you can apply for the Australian Labour Market Test in Hong Kong to prove that the applicant is able to find a high salary job in Australia

· Other requirements:

- Applicant: whether the research project is within the ten target areas of GTI, whether it has made specific contributions in related fields, and must have outstanding achievements in the industry (such as obtaining patents, publishing academic articles, participating in major projects, winning major awards, etc.)

- Nominee: The nominee of the applicant must be an Australian citizen/Australian Permanent resident/legal New Zealand citizen with outstanding achievements in the industry, or an Australian organisation with outstanding achievements
