The Australia 600 Visitor Visa is a temporary visa that allows the holder to travel to Australia for tourism, family or business. In general, the 600 visa is valid for 3 months, 6 months or 12 months, but in special cases it is possible to apply for a visitor or family visit visa valid for 18 months, 3 years or 5 years, and the visa holder can enter and leave Australia one or more times during the validity of the visa.

600 visitor visas are divided into 4 categories:

1. Travel categories

Visa holders can travel to Australia for tourism, to visit friends and family and for short-term study. If the applicant is applying for a 600 visa in Australia, the applicant must be in Australia at the time the visa is granted; If the applicant is applying for a 600 visa outside Australia, the applicant must be outside Australia at the time the visa is granted.

Parents of Australian citizens and permanent residents can apply for a longer 600 visitor visa, which is valid for 18 months, 3 years and 5 years and can be issued multiple times for a stay of not more than 12 months. However, it is important to note that if you apply for a longer 600 visitor visa, you must pass a medical examination and hold health insurance during your stay in Australia.

2. Business category

Visa holders may travel to Australia for short-term business purposes, including attending conferences, conducting negotiations and business meetings. Applicants can only apply for and be granted a visa outside Australia.

3. Categories of guaranteed family visits

The applicant must have a qualified guarantor, and the guarantor may be required to provide a security deposit. The applicant must be outside Australia at the time of submission of the visa application and visa approval. In general, sponsor 600 visa holders cannot apply for any further visas in Australia.

4. Categories of guaranteed family visits

For group tour visas, ADS visa applicants should meet the normal visitor visa conditions. The applicant must be outside Australia before submitting the visa application and obtaining the visa. The validity of the visa issued will be consistent with the itinerary of the tour group.
